tripdiaryThe Robinson's are out and aboutMany of our friends have moved away. We hope to keep in touch and share our adventures. May and June with the Robinson'sI have gotten behind with my blogging. Never thought I would need to use that word, oh, it never used to be a word.
Well, summer has arrived. I am trying to enjoy every minute. I get interupted by mundane tasks such as work and home chores. I am still poking babies with sharp needles. Jerry has been transferred to the Cole road store. He seems to be working even longer hours there than he did at Fairview. Jake is currently at Albertson's on Federal Way. Sadie is working at Boondock's. They actually pay her to go there. We are doing well.
May came and went quickly. Jerry refinished the floor in the boat. It looks beautiful. I then needed to do some interior decorating. I went to Id Falls to see my friend Heather. She had a baby shower. That was fun. Then I got to go back the first week of June after baby Martin was born. That was great. Mean while, Jerry took the boat to McCall and got it put in and put together. He did this with our new rig we bought. It is a GMC Yukon '97. Great rig. We are now trying to sell the Travall. For all of the International collectors, we would be happy to pass it along to a good and caring home. We had an extra child for a few weeks. Sadie's friend Amanda moved in. When school ended she went to Tenn. to see her mom, but will be back this summer to live with us. Jake is still currently sleeping here. We don't see much of him. June is running by quickly. Today Jerry and I went for a drive. Glenn's Ferry to Carmela winery, had a good lunch, looked around. Then decided to head back, took a short cut, as my dad would have called it. We detoured north of Mountain Home to go to Paririe. My Grandparent's took care of a ranch there when I was very young. Haven't been back, so we decided to see what the area was really like. I love it there. Nice little side trip (short cut). Kim Hess has been in town this last week. Karen O and I took a Yoga class Kim taught. She kicked my butt. Kim is great, wish she would stay. It was great to catch up and see her again. Our other activity the last few months has been waiting and reading the Rader's adventure letters. It has been great hearing each day where they are and the adventures. I am adding some various photos of the last month. Keep in touch everyone. We miss our friends who have moved away. Tracy and Jerry 6/24/2007 : view on map : permalink : comments It's SnowingThis weekend was attending Sadie's cheer competition was exciting. I was going to share photos, but I didn't remember to take my camera. I then decided to take photos with my phone. They didn't turn out so well, and I don't know how to put the photos on the computer, yet. I missed a good share of the performance. Anyway, the group took 2nd place for the high schools. This is the first time they have ever performed since it is a new school. Way to go Sadie.
Sunday is ski day. WOW! Around 2 feet of show since last weekend. Nothing but powder. Sadie came with us and the Odgen's. Sadie and I went to the front side and Jerry and O's went back side. Great day. Back to home for a nap for the afternoon. 2/25/2007 : view on map : permalink : comments There we went againHere it is another week and I am now getting to last weekend. I sound confused, just a state of mind.
We went to Bogus. Tied up with the Ogden's. Oops. Parked next to Odgen's. ( Wrong activity.) Dave fixed a fabulous Tai dinner. Wow, he's a pretty good cook. (beware of the over night gastranomical events) We managed to survive the wind storm that night. I thought we had drug anchor, afraid we would swing into Odgen's, but we came out ok. Didn't even get blown off the mountain. Went skiing the next day, it was nicer, a bit. Drashner's came up to ski with us. Fun was had by all. Another great day. No photos. We really aren't that exciting. This weekend the adventure it attending Sadie's cheer compitition. I will snap some photos to add. Stay tuned for further adventures. 2/23/2007 : view on map : permalink : comments First Camping tripWe went to Bogus Basin. Clear skies and "warm weather", well, it was sunny at least. We met the Odgen's with their Scamp and spent the night.
Jerry and Karen went skiing. Dave and I stayed put, guarding the goods. Phil Terrill joined us for lunch. What a great time. 2/11/2007 : view on map : permalink : comments Celebration Park2nd trip with the camper. Sadie joined us. We went for a hike. Jerry fished a little.
